In Brazil a professional can only be hired by a registered local company.
However, a Brazilian professional can be hired abroad and remain in Brazil, to work for the hiring company.
His/her pay is to be made in the country where he was hired
This hiring is legal, but the professional earnings abroad must be declared and taxed like the earnings made in Brazil.
If the professional fails to declare these earnings abroad the taxation can be avoided to a certain point, but these funds cannot be used for investment (like real estate, or just a new car) because there is no legally identified source for those funds.
